Caribou

!00 year old house with quarter sawn fir floors on the 2nd floor that were very squeaky and in very bad, damaged shape. After screwing the original flooring and subfloor down to the joists my wife and I installed Supercore in Caribou in the three bedrooms and hall. We are very pleased and especially appreciate the dimensional stability of the material which allowed a tight, close installation through the doorways preventing anxiety or concern for expansion/contraction associated with regular vinyl flooring. The only comment I have is a personal desire for less variation between planks. We dealt with this by separating the colors and putting the darkest planks in the violet walled bedroom, midtone brown planks in the hall and blue bedroom, and the lightest planks with more yellow coloring in the green bedroom. This worked quite well , but I'm not a fan of wide variation in wood, or wood-look, floors. In spite of this, if you like the pattern they offer, as we did, I can freely recommend this product. The price is right, installation is straightforward and the people at WeShipFloors were helpful and easy to work with.
