Trim - SUPERCore Stair Nose - 6mm thick x 94" long
Stair nosing is 6mm thick with a front 7/8" bullnose. Stair nosing is used to finish a top step, or complete an entire set of stairs in combination with 6mm Supercore flooring.
If you are installing 8mm flooring, be sure to order the 6mm version in the same color to go with your installation components for the stairs. Flooring planks can be used to back fill your stair steps and can also be used as riser material as well. Note - there are 10 planks in the 6mm product box. Be sure to count the quantity of steps you need planks for.
For side returns, you will need to miter cut the nosing to create the return piece for the exposed side of your step. (See photo)
Use Loctite PL3 Premium (see photo) in combination with screws to set your nosing.
Otherwise, If you use a 6mm Flush Stairnose with 8mm flooring, you would need to add a 1/8" shim under the stairnose to "boost up" the stairnose so the top surface is flush with the 8mm thick flooring.
Some additional modification may be needed for either the backside of nosing and/or the joining side of the plank.
This is considered to be an upper level installation and we recommend a professional to manage the specialty knowledge needed for a proper installation.
