SUPERCore Xtreme XLT Ivory Tower 8mm x 9 x 72" Waterproof Rigid Plank Flooring 17.94sf/ctn

After a lot of research and a great experience the first time, this is the second time we've chosen SuperCore Xtreme XLT for a project. This time for our kitchen! My husband is a contractor and is impressed with how well they snap together- whether on an uneven or even subfloor - and how thick the pieces are. We used Gunstock for the first project and Ivory Tower in our kitchen. It almost looks like it has a greyish hue to it, but my husband said the almond caulk is what matches it. We love the look!

I am a huge fan of the SUPERCore products. They install easier than competitors' products and I have tried many. They are also extremely durable. This was my first stab at the 9" wide planks and this was a mistake to order. The effort that it takes to get the short end to snap into place was not worth the reduced number of planks needed. Multiple attempts to get one plank installed was very frustrating and time consuming. Plus, my cutter couldn't handle the 9" width, and I had to use a jigsaw to cut the ends - also time consuming and not exact. After trying the pergo type products and other LVP products, this will always be my go to flooring, but I will stick with the 7" wide planks. This was also my first time using the 8mm thick material and I love it. I used the X products (6mm thick) for my previous SUPERCore installs. So, specifically, I recommend any/all of the XT, or XP if you lack experience, products for ease of install and durability.
